The following listings are culinary books I have read or use for reference.
It is not a complete listing of everything I have ever read or studied, and neither do I recommend them all. Some of these 'food writing' books such as 'Kitchen Confidential' include situations and language that is R rated. I don't buy cookbooks, usually they are given to me as gifts. Nowadays a recipe for almost anything can be found online and tweaked for ones own tastes.
